Heads up, SHIB fans! The team behind Shibarmy Scam Alerts has just dropped an important warning, and you won't want to miss it.

In short, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) crew is urging everyone to be super careful when chatting with sketchy folks on Telegram. It turns out some crafty scammers are creating fake profiles of SHIB admins and moderators, all with the nasty goal of tricking you.

“These fakers are using the BIO section to display usernames, making their profiles seem legit at first glance,” the warning says.

The SHIB team made it crystal clear: real SHIB developers will never slide into your DMs to offer support or fix wallet issues. “If someone reaches out to you first, claiming to be an admin, it's probably a scam. Always double-check usernames with the ones on official channels,” they emphasized.

The SHIB community is being called to stay sharp when dealing with anyone claiming to be on the team. Double-check those usernames and report any shady activity pronto!

Remember last year when the Shiba Inu team issued a similar alert for Telegram users? They warned that these bad actors might try to get your personal and financial info or even push you to send funds to sketchy addresses.

“Keep your personal data like address, phone number, and financial info under wraps. Legit entities won’t ask for this stuff through Telegram DMs. And whatever you do, don’t send money or crypto based on Telegram requests,” the team advised.

And just this week, Shibarmy Scam Alerts flagged another red flag. If someone pops up offering you opportunities with the Treat token, be wary. The team reminded everyone that the Treat token hasn’t launched yet.

“This is a reminder that some groups are pushing a fake Treat token claiming to be part of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem. Just so you know, the official Treat token is NOT out yet. Any token saying otherwise is a scam designed to fool you.”

The developers promised to make an official announcement once the real token goes live. “If you're ever unsure about any info or token, always verify through trusted sources within the Shiba Inu Ecosystem,” they added.

Stay alert, stay safe, and keep those SHIBs secure!
