Guess what? The king of crypto, Bitcoin, is on fire! It just blasted past the $80,000 and even hit a new high of almost $82,000. Talk about reaching for the stars! While some altcoins decided to take a breather, the meme coin champs, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, along with CRO, WIF, NEAR, and TAO, are dancing in double-digit gains. No stopping these party animals!

It's like we're living in a Bitcoin deja vu these days as it keeps smashing through ceiling after ceiling. This wild ride kicked off following Donald Trump's sweeping win in the 2024 US presidential elections. BTC didn't just break its March record of $73,737; it soared past $75,000, leaving everyone in awe.

In the days that followed, Bitcoin tore through barriers like a hot knife through butter. Just yesterday, it touched the $80,000 mark. Sure, the bears tried to rain on its parade, but Bitcoin shrugged them off, climbing even higher to $81,800. Although it took a tiny step back, it's still strutting above $81,000, boasting a nearly 3% daily increase and a jaw-dropping 18% weekly rise.

Bitcoin's market cap has skyrocketed to over $1.6 trillion, and it's flexing its muscles with a 55.6% dominance over the altcoins. Meanwhile, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu are stealing the spotlight as top performers. Doge even leapfrogged XRP and USDC to become the sixth-largest cryptocurrency, reaching a high just under $0.3. Shiba Inu's been wagging its tail too, hitting its own local peak.

Other big movers today include NEAR, CRO, TAO, KAS, STX, and WIF, all celebrating double-digit gains. On the flip side, ADA decided to chill after Sunday's epic rally, while ETH, BNB, TON, XRP, TRX, and AVAX are nursing minor losses.

The crypto market cap just got a $50 billion boost since yesterday, now climbing to an impressive $2.9 trillion. The crypto world is buzzing, and these roller-coaster prices are keeping everyone on their toes. Stay tuned for more thrills and spills in this wild, wild crypto ride!
