Hold onto your seats, crypto fans, because the market's been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride! Chainlink is leading the pack of the not-so-great performers today.

Bitcoin's been playing peek-a-boo with the $105,000 mark, taking a nosedive of about three grand over the past 24 hours. Ouch! Meanwhile, the altcoins are singing the blues too. Ethereum slipped to $2,300, Dogecoin took a dip to $0.35, and ADA tumbled below the $1 line.

The weekend was a wild ride, with Bitcoin strutting its stuff above $100,000 thanks to some TRUMP-token excitement. But come Monday, the mood shifted, at least in the early Asian trading hours. BTC decided to head south, dropping from $106,000 to just under the century mark. But just when you thought it was down and out, it bounced back up, hitting an all-time high of over $109,000.

Then came the Trump inauguration speech, and Bitcoin took another hit. Apparently, no crypto shout-outs from Trump meant BTC slipped a few grand again.

By Wednesday, Bitcoin managed to regain some ground, hovering around $105,000. But the last 24 hours have been rough, and it's now chilling at about $102,000. Its market cap's had a bit of a tumble, but it's still clinging onto the $2 trillion club, with dominance over the altcoins north of 55%.

Altcoins have been following Bitcoin's lead, with Ethereum flirting with the $3,200 floor after a 2.6% drop. Solana's taken a similar dive, dropping below $250, while DOGE and ADA have both slumped over 3%. Chainlink, however, is the drama queen of the larger-cap alts, plummeting by 6% to under $25.

Joining Chainlink in the downward spiral are AVAX, SUI, and XLM, along with mid-cap alts like PEPE, AAVE, VET, and CRO.

The grand total market cap of all crypto assets shed a bit of weight too, losing over $100 billion since yesterday and settling down at $3.660 trillion.

So there you have it, folks! The crypto market's been a bit of a mixed bag, but that's what makes it so exciting, right? Stay tuned for more thrilling updates!
