Hayes thinks it's prime time for meme coins to take center stage and is loading up his portfolio with some of the hottest tokens out there: Pepe (PEPE), Mother Iggy (MOTHER), and Mog Coin (MOG).
In a series of lively tweets, Hayes didn't just talk the talk; he walked the walk. He even sent out a playful tweet to rapper Iggy Azalea, the mastermind behind MOTHER, cheekily asking if she could be his “mother.” Talk about dedication to his investments!
Hayes also had a little confession session, admitting he was off the mark with his call that the Federal Reserve's rate cut would boost the Japanese yen and sink assets like Bitcoin. But hey, Bitcoin held its ground, and Hayes saw it as a sign to dive into meme coins. “Time to trade some dogshit meme coins,” he quipped.
Keeping the excitement rolling, Hayes announced he doubled down on MOTHER, employing a strategy he calls “martingale’ing.” He’s got big dreams for this meme coin, eyeing a market cap of $1 billion. As of now, Mother Iggy is hovering close, standing at $986 million.
But Hayes wasn't stopping there. Early Friday, he spilled the beans on scooping up more MOG and PEPE, even inviting his buddy to get in on the action. On-chain data from Lookonchain shows Hayes has already pocketed 24.39 billion PEPE, totaling around $252,680, from Binance.
“It’s time for a memecoin breakout. I respect my $MOTHER, I $MOG like no one else, but I can’t neglect $PEPE. Yachtzee Bitches!” Hayes exclaimed.
And it’s not just meme coins that have caught his eye. Hayes is also bullish on Aethir (ATH), the token for decentralized cloud infrastructure project Aethir. Since mid-August, he’s been snapping up millions of ATH, funding these buys by selling off some of his Pendle (PENDLE) stash. Despite the sales, Hayes remains confident in PENDLE's potential in the crypto interest rate derivatives market.
As of his latest ATH buy, Hayes now owns 116.63 million ATH, worth a cool $7.5 million. Looks like Hayes is all in and ready for the meme coin season to make waves!
